Hello,

I am having a problem logging into Mahara.

I installed this a few months ago and have not been able to really get started with it. My problem is that every time I try and log in I get three error messages

Exceeded max log in attempts

Not provided correct details

error submitting this form please try again.

I also had a problem with the reminder password function not working until I changes my address (actually my server host did this for me - I have no idea how) 

I can not get into Mahara but only if I request a password reminder reset every time I want to log in.

Your thoughts and suggestions would be really appreciated. 

I have mahara hosted on a Linux server and am running a new version - downloaded a couple of months ago from this site.

Is your cron running? It seems that people who've had that problem in the past resolved it by making sure the cron job worked: https://mahara.org/interaction/forum/topic.php?id=5566
