What is the link between the logo . . . and mahara?

Is it a single twist infinity loop?

Hi Bruce,

Mahara is the Maori word for reflection/thinking and the logo is likely to be a stylized Maori greenstone (jade) carving.

Yep, the Mahara logo is meant to be a pounamu (greenstone/jade) carving. If I recall correctly, the twist shape is meant to represent friendship and connections between people.
