This is the one I started tinkering with skins on - based on a Moodle theme, which gave me something to start with.  The image for the background I created, was just inspired by Moodle (mine has a thin blue pinstripe to it, to break up the green a little).

With that skin I wanted to include site font (Amerika, see: http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/Amerika).

Unfortunatelly I'm not the admin on master.dev.mahara.org and so I couldn't imported that font... I've noticed that when you add site fonts and try to use them with your skin design then font selection drop-down box freezes (it's not shown and it freezes browser completelly).

It happens on Firefox (24.0). Tested the behaviour on Chrome 30.0.1599.101 m and Internet Explorer 9.0.8112.16421CO and it works OK on both - just the Firefox causes the problems for once...

Hello Gregor,

I'm sorry, but your two additional skins can't be in the competition as I had finalized everything before you had sent them and the voting had already started.

If you do know how to fix the bug with the fonts, please feel free to fix it esp. if it worked before and you may know directly what's going on.

Thanks for sharing your themes, Gregor! It's been interesting to see what people can do with this feature. As a not very graphicsy person, while testing I just kept giving them really blaring loud colors that made everything look a McDonald's Happy Meal.

Maybe we should open a separate sticky thread for people to post skins to, post-contest. I expect we might see a lot of that if the feature becomes popular.
