New install blocked by grant trigger error
13 July 2012, 5:47
Hi,
Mahara 1.5.1 from mahara.org
Apache version | 2.2.22 |
PHP version | 5.3.10 |
MySQL version | 5.0.95-community |
Architecture | i686 |
Operating system | linux |
I'm doing a new install of Mahara, using cPanel to set up database, etc., according to the guidelines on mahara.org.
When I try to run the new install, I get the following:
Mahara requires permission to create database triggers, but is unable to do so. Please ensure that the trigger privilege has been granted to the appropriate user in your MySQL installation. For instructions on how to do this, see https://wiki.mahara.org/index.php/System_Administrator's_Guide/Granting_Trigger_Privilege
The link given states:
If you don't have access to the terminal client, but created the database user using some external tool like 'mysql administrator', you should be able to edit the user's permissions using the same tool. Make sure the TRIGGER privilege is granted.
I used cPanel's MySQL database wizard to set up the database user privileges and checked them all, as instructed in the installation guidelines. However, I do not see how I can edit the permissions further.
What am I missing?
