Hi. I'm on 1.3.1 and likely to go to 1.3.3 very shortly.

Is there any way in which a teacher can see all the tagged entries in a student blog, rather than ALL entires, or one, or none? The student can see his tagged entires by clicking on a Tag in his cloud; but how can the teacher do the same? More importantly, is it possible to FILTER the view of the blog so that only selectively tagged posts appear?

All these questions are really about allowing the student to keep ONE extensive learning blog, but tag parts of it for different audiences or assessments.

Regards, John

Hello John,

Thanks for picking up the tag search / cloud. Currently, only students can search their portfolio for the tags they used. We do not yet have group / institution / site tags. You can find a discussion around tagging and the tag feature at http://mahara.org/interaction/forum/topic.php?id=843 for background information. The University of Luxembourg had funded the initial work on tagging and the individual tag search, but had not done anything else in that area and used the remaining funding for the expansion of the feedback feature. It would be fantastic to expand the tag feature to what you propose and the other ideas.

Cheers

Kristina
