I have set up a Mahara 1.2.6 which integrates well with our Moodle Site.  However when a new student first clicks uses Mahara they are put into a default group.

Can I prevent this?

Hi Dave, if you go to this default group and click 'edit' you will see that there is an option that says: 'Users Auto-added'. You should be able to change it to 'No'

Or it is part of the Moodle integration?

Hi Roberto,

It is a feature in 1.3, but it looks like you must have Site Admin rights.

Thanks Kristina for the tip. Yes I found that feature is available when you create a group with admin rights, not for regular users. Great! I was looking for such a feature.
