wiki.mahara.org down?
20 September 2010, 10:38
Hi, I'm new here and not sure if this is the right place to post this. I've been trying to get to wiki.mahara.org to get to the install instructions, but the site in general appears to be down. I've tried from a couple different locations, so I'm pretty sure it's not just an issue on my end.
Anyone else seeing this? Anywhere else to get the install instructions while the wiki is unavailable?
Thanks!

Hi Tony,
This has been reported to Catalyst who operate the Wiki. Hopefully this should be resolved fairly soon.
The basic installation instructions are (off the top of my head):
- upload mahara's htdocs folder to your web server;
- copy config-dist.php to config.php and edit to your situation;
- create your postgres database (or mysql if you don't value your data ;)); and
- visit your mahara URL -- This should take your through the rest of the process.
Hope that this helps,
Andrew

Sorry about that Tony,
Someone is working on it, and it should be back up soon. In the meantime I've uploaded the html for the install instructions page:

There was another outage earlier today, but it's back up now.
Cheers,
Aaron
