Hi all

Moodle Version - 4.5.8
Mahara Version - 25.04.3

We were running assignsubmission_maharaws 2025032100 successfully but updated the plugin to the following versions:

2025120200 - would not connect to Mahara
2025121500 - would not connect to Mahara
2026020200 - will not connect to Mahara

In all 3 cases the connection from Moodle to Mahara no longer works and the assignment page on Moodle displays the following:

No mahara hosts found. *see attached file - I wasn't allowed to add a screenshot*

This was working before we updated the plugin. Newer releases don't seem to help

We've also set up : lti_advantage which is set up in a very similar way which is working as expected

Any suggestions?

Found the answer!

If it helps anyone else - you need to remove the 'old' mnet submission plugin! => assignsubmission_mahara

Hi Jim,

Wonderful that you found your solution! I did have both plugins set up in parallel without issues in the past, but in general, I'd recommend only working with one. It is possible to convert old MNet assignments over to the LTI plugin, which is detailed in the readme file of the plugin.

Yep, we have another installation where both versions are active and all is fine! Moodle/Mahara work in strange ways sometimes I guess!
