A few weeks ago, the ICDE World Conference was held in Wellington, and I had the opportunity to catch up with Irene Yee Chief from the University of the South Pacific (USP) and meet her colleague Soropepeli (Soro) Ramacake. He's a lecturer in the Social Work programme at USP and supporting his students' learning while they are on practicums with Mahara. Learn about his practice, why he works with Mahara, and what some of the unique challenges are that students in the Pacific Islands face.
