Hello everyone,

I've received an enhancement suggestion and wanted to see if that resonated with others: It would be useful if new pages within a collection could be made available based on dates  rather than the students seeing them right from the start when they copy the collection.

---

The idea behind this is to scaffold the portfolio work without overwhelming students with all the template pages from the start. Currently, you could copy pages into student accounts every week and then they add them into their collection as they go.

Would you, if you work with templates, want to make use of such an automation?

Thank you

Kristina

Hi Kristina,

That feature would be useful.  I would also like it if Smart evidence frameworks could have the same feature.

Hi Edd,

Thank you for your vote for the timed release. As for SmartEvidence, do you mean that certain standards only become available at a particular time, e.g. 'four weeks after starting on the portfolio'? Or have it configurable on a template basis as frameworks can be used across multiple years?

I'd love to hear your thoughts on how you envisage a timed availability for SmartEvidence.

Thank you

Kristina

Hi Kristina,

The vision that had been articulated to me by academics is that the smart evidence can be progressive over a course of study.  Students will spend each year collecting evidence against a standard and once completing them the subsequent year  the next tier of standards is released to them to complete, all within the same portfolio.  The final assessment will look at eveything as a whole with all the standards and evidence in one place.

Regards,

Edd

Thank you for sharing that idea, Edd. I can understand your requirements better now.

Cheers
