Hi Emelie,
Do you see any error messages in the Mahara error log?
Thank you

Hi Kristina,
We are seeing a very similar error when a Student submits a copied portfolio. This only seems to show happen when a user submits a portfolio which has been copied.
I will attached both errors.

I think this issue is caused by the Smart evidence framework. Seems like submitting work that has smart evidence attached results in the error

In our case there was no smart evidence framework attached to the portfolio that the student submitted.

Hi Michael,
Can you please make sure that you are on the latest code for Mahara 24.04 and also on the latest code for the Mahara assignment submission plugin and give it another go?
Thank you
Kristina

We have updated our test site and moving to 24.0.8 seems to have solved the issue, however now on my test site when I try to add a block to a page it wont bring up the add block menu. Is this something we have done wrong in the upgrade or a setting I have overlooked. Or have you seen something similar before.
When I click the + nothing happens and when I drag it onto the page I get the following:

Hi Michael,
I'm happy to read that the problem with SmartEvidence has been resolved. As for the 'Add' block button, can you please click the 'Clear cache' button on the 'Admin overview' page just to be on the safe side? If that doesn't resolve it, please give it a go in a private window not that an old JavaScript file is still in your local browser cache.
Thank you
Kristina

Hi Kristina,
I have cleared the Cache and tried it in a private window, I have even tried it on a completely new browser. However the problem still persists. Could this be an old JavaScript file which would still be on the server?
Thanks
Michael

Hi Michael,
I'd recommend to check that you are on the latest maintenance update for your version of Mahara. Since this relates to Gridstack, you could check that the files in /htdocs/js/gridstack match what we released. If your site is installed via Git, and you've made sure that your code matches our released code (not just in that directory), then please run 'make initcomposer' as that pulls all the necessary third-party libraries down.
If you use the download package, please follow the instructions on the wiki. We also have instructions for Git, but it's usually the download packages where files might not match what's in core.
Cheers
Kristina
