Hi everyone,

A couple of weeks ago, I published the first episode of 2025 for our podcast 'Create. Share. Engage.' This kicked off the mini series of episodes with students and staff from Dominican University of California, which is located in San Rafael, just north off the Golden Gate Bridge. I visited that university in October for the first AAEEBL ePortfolio Retreat and could interview students and a staff member in person, which was a real treat.

The first interview though was an online one as I talked with Solena Ornelas who had graduated from Dominican and now works on the East Coast. She uses her portfolio to set goals and track her achievement.

In the episode that went live today, you learn how Starlight (José) Lain-Straus uses their portfolio, primarily in their education major, but also how they support other students in the portfolio creation process.

This 5-part mini series with Dominican students and staff shows you the portfolio practice from different perspectives and demonstrates how portfolios can be embedded and supported centrally at a university.

As usual, you can listen to all episodes of 'Create. Share. Engage.' in your favourite podcast player or on the podcast's website.

Thank you

Kristina
