Hello everyone,

The next Mahara Newsletter will be published on 1/2 January 2024, and we would like to hear from you what you are doing with Mahara.

We'd love to hear from you and how you are using Mahara at your organisation. Send your text or video (link) or visualisation to [email protected].

The contribution

It will be best if your text is up to 150 words long. Ideally, this will be a summary or the first paragraph of a blog post / announcement etc. that is available elsewhere online so that a longer text can be linked. If your text is only about 150 words long and does not include a link to a longer text, that is fine as well.

It can be a previously published text as long that is OK with the original source.

You can submit your text in a language other than English. However, it will have to be accompanied by an English summary so that those who don't speak your language can get the gist of it.

If you want to see what others have written so far, please go to the Newsletter.

The deadline

Please send your contributions to [email protected] latest by 18 December 2023.

The license

By submitting a contribution to the newsletter, you agree that the text which appears in the newsletter will be published under Creative Commons BY-SA.

The fine print

We reserve the right not to publish every submitted story in the Mahara Newsletter. We also reserve the right to use a story in a later newsletter instead of the current one. Authors will be informed about these decisions.

Furthermore, we may make minor editorial changes or correct spelling mistakes.

To establish the identity of the authors, your name can be linked to one of the following:

  • your Mahara profile page
  • your personal blog / homepage
  • your LinkedIn, Fediverse, etc. page

Please advice, which link should be used. If there is no preference, it will be up to the editor to decide.

I am looking forward to receiving your submissions.

Thank you

Kristina
