Hello,

2022 was an eventful year for the Mahara core team at Catalyst IT. We've had two new releases, are getting closer to supporting PHP 8.1, implemented new and changed features, started a podcast, and provided support not only for our team's clients but also the wider community, in particular through the forums on mahara.org.

We will be taking a break over the summer in Aotearoa New Zealand from 23 December 2022 to 9 January 2023 and will be back to responding to forum enquiries after that. Other community members who've been answering questions in the forums may also be taking a break.

Until then though,

• make sure to check out the remaining doors in our advent calendar as there are still some prizes to win!
• we will also publish another episode for our podcast 'Create. Share. Engage.' this Wednesday. Queue it up in your podcast app or listen on the website.
• the next quarterly newsletter will be published on 1 January 2023 to start the project in full swing with Mahara and portfolio goodness.
• if you'd like to receive portfolio news more frequently than every three months, you can also sign up to our Catalyst Mahara newsletter.
