Hi everyone!

Is it possible in Mahara 21.10 / 22.04 to have a site wide setting for comments to be private instead of public? If so, where do I find this in the Administration of a Mahara site?

We want our portfolio owners and other logged in people to be able to comment on artefacts and pages, but it should be up to the owner of a portfolio (and the comment author) to decide whether a comment be published or not.

Hi Joost,

Currently, we don't have a setting for having comments private per default. The only time a comment is private by default unless you flip the switch is when a portfolio is submitted for assessment.

That would be a neat little new functionality as site and institution setting (to overwrite the site setting if it wasn't set to 'Yes'). ;-)
