Hello community :)

We are doing a pilot with Mahara (v21.10.0) and we have a couple of issues.

The CV/Résumé is not displayed on pages in groups. I have created a CV, but when publishing it entire or in individual parts in the portfolio it is not displayed [attachment: Mahara-CV-KO.png]. I have tried with various web browsers. But it displays correctly on my portfolio pages and collections [attachment: Mahara-CV-KO.png]. Is it a bug?

The second is related to date fields. In English they are displayed correctly, but not in other languages such as catalan. Sample: %AM/06/06. [attachment: Mahara-date.png]

I would appreciate your help.

Hi Marc,

Thank you for your first message. I lifted the probation period on your account. It is correct that CVs can't be added to group pages because those are inherent personal artefacts and not artefacts that a group can own. So it's not a bug.

As for the date field that looks like the date format is not correctly expanded for Catalan. In English it says 'Use the format %s' and the '%s' then shows the correct date format for the selected language, e.g. in German it says 'Verwenden Sie das Format YYYY/MM/DD'. However, in Catalan it displays 'Use the format %A/MM/DD' (because the string hasn't been translated) instead of AAAA/MM/DD. I don't know why that would be. A developer would need to take a look and see what's going on there, if it's an issue in the translation setup, if PHP doesn't know the proper format or ...

Hi Marc,

I found the issue - some of the date formatting strings had been translated in a way that was incompatible with the data that was coming through. I've fixed the instance you discovered and three others with the same problem in the langconfig.php file in the Catalan langpack. These changes will be approved by Kristina in the next day or so. After that, when you resync your langpack, they should be available to you.

I can confirm the new translations are available in version 21.10 (As well as 21.04 and 22.04).

As you are using 21.10, you can update your langpack either by:

1. Resyncing via the CLI: https://manual.mahara.org/en/22.04/administration/cli.html?highlight=langpack, or

2. Downloading from our langpack site: https://langpacks.mahara.org/

Mahara 22.04 now has an admin interface which allows you to manage langpacks via the GUI: https://manual.mahara.org/en/22.04/administration/development.html#new-in-mahara-22-04-languages

Let us know if you have any other issues.
