Hi Guys,

Is there any howto to enable mahara to auth into  CAS 6.4 server . I am trying old plugin but its giving a lot of errors

Hi Tim,

It would be best and easiest if you enabled the SAML bridge in CAS and then used the built-in SAML plugin. SAML doesn't come installed out of the box. So please follow the instructions in Admin menu → Extensions → Plugin administration → SAML to pull all dependencies via Composer and then configure it. We used this successfully in the past with CAS and did not need a third-party plugin. I suspect the CAS plugin hasn't been updated in some time.

Hi Tim,

We don't because that's always been configured on the client's end. ;-) However, a Google produced a handy step-by-step guide that might help, but since I've never configured it, I don't know if these steps are valid for the version of CAS you are using.
