Hello,

We have the "OpenID Connect Authentication Plugin" plugin (https://github.com/remotelearner/mahara-auth_oidc) installed on Mahara and when in the App, if we click "Single Sign On" , we are redirected to an
in app browser to sign in but after signing in, we stay in the in app browser and do not return to the app. Is there a setting in
Mahara or a way to return to the app after logging in using OpenID SSO?

Hi Robert,

When you log into Maahra Mobile via SSO, you should not see a Mahara screen at all but be taken to the login form where you can select your authentication method. Once logged in, you are normally, redirected to Mahara Mobile and not the Mahara browser version. We did just this week identify a problem with SSO that doesn't always log a person in correctly, but hadn't seen that it doesn't redirect back properly.

I wonder, since the third-party OpenID Connect plugin is very old and hasn't been updated in a long time. if it is missing something that the built-in SAML plugin has to tie in with Mahara Mobile. Further investigation would be needed. The Mahara core team doesn't have any experience with that plugin I'm afraid.
