Hi, I'm currently setting up mahara 20.10 for our college using MySQL as the DB. I am required to create a file folder where all of our student can dump their file into one same folder with below criteria:

a) Member can only upload, view and delete THEIR file only

b) Member cannot edit the folder name

OR is there any way to auto create one folder for every new user where user cannot modify or delete the folder ? They should only be able add or delete their own file into the folder.

I did try making a group file, but the "edit" permission gave them the right to delete and rename the file folder. Another issue is that other user other than the file owner can actually view and download the content which is a major issue.

Is there a possible workaround to do this?

Hi,

There is no option to do that out of the box yet, but you can change the code to allow for it.

Cheers
