You can watch a short video on the original idea for the portfolio completion page. It was implemented in Mahara 20.10. We expanded on that in Mahara 21.04 and added more functionality.

Hi Kristina,

The institution name is entered manually, but I think the short name is set automatically.
If I enter The Institution name in Japanese, it seems that the short name is set by extracting only the half-width characters excluding the Japanese part from The institution name.
Is it possible to enter The institution name in Japanese?

Hi AB-Net,

Currently, only English characters and numbers are allowed in that field. You can file a wishlist item if you think that should be changed or you can change it yourself and submit a fix.

Hi AB-Net,

You do not have the use the portfolio completion page. If you do want to use it, you need to enable it in your institution first or you won't see the functionalities associated with it.
