Do students receive email submission reciepts?

Hello. Please can you clarify if when a student submits their work through Mahara, if they are sent an email confirmation receipt as evidence of their submission? Does this feature exist? Thank you.

Hi Catherine,
No, the student is not sent an email on submitting a page / collection.
If they need to see what pages / collections that are submitted they can go to the Create -> Pages and collections area. The submitted pages / collections will show there with yellow backgrounds and have info about when they were submitted.
When a moderator has finished with the submitted work they can release the page / collection and this will alert the student to it release via email.

Hi Catherine,
Depending on your version of Mahara this is actually possible. If you have Mahara 19.10 or later, your students will receive email notifications. See the wishlist item. This must have slipped Robert's mind when he had replied.
