Dear ,

I just upgrade Mahara from 17.10 to 18.04.4 and it tested okay. Now PHP 7.0.x version is used in Mahara system.

I would like to upgrade PHP to latest version if it is feasible. Does it support PHP 7.1, 7.2 or 7.3?  Would you please provide us the suggestion which PHP version it support?

Hi Wlliam,

18.04 does not yet support PHP 7. PHP 7.0 is supported from Mahara 18.10 on. And Mahara 19.04 supports PHP 7.2.

Dear Kristina, 

I have been used  Mahara 17.10.6 under PHP 7.0.30 version more than one year and no problem is found.

I just upgraded Mahara from 17.10.6 to 18.04.4 in Development site under PHP 7.0.x and seem no problem is found.

Please advise whether PHP 7.0 is supported for Mahara 18.04.4 version.

Hi William,

We do not support Mahara 18.04 officially on PHP 7.0. It should work for the most part, but there could still be some issues as we hadn't done extensive testing.
