I have many institutions in mahara. Each institution is connected with a moodle via mnet. 

When I login to mahara in my institution then I do not have the import- and export-link in order to import or export my portfolio.

When I login to mahara in a different institution (same mahara!) then there are the import and export-links.

Any ideas why the institutions are different in the posibility to export oder import?

This is odd as MNet doesn't have anything to do with the export or import.

Are you on the latest minor point update for your release of Mahara and area you on a supported version? I remember that we had an issue where the export and import didn't show up in the navigation for some institutions. I think it might have been institutions having the configurable theme. Clearning the cache on the "Admin home" page and saving the institution settings resolved the issue if I remember correctly.

It's something to give it a go, but since I don't know your Mahara instance, I can't say for sure that this is the issue. I'm pretty certain that it's not MNet.
