I just did the update from 17.4 to 18.4.

A teacher now has issues accessing some pages from students:

Accessing the profile page of a student returns

"A nonrecoverable error occurred. This probably means you have encountered a bug in the system "

But accessing the same students Portfolio works.

I checked this on different users accessing different profiles and it feels random. Some users encounter the error on some pages, but other users do not encounter the error on the same page.

Does anyone have similar issues?

Is there a way to narrow down the problem? May be a Logfile I don't know about?

You are seeing the generic error message. Please check your error log for more information.

This is the error_log when i access a profile which gives me an error.
I never had any issues like that before.
I secretly hope that it is a bug, and I'm not responsible =)

I could reproduce the error and reported here. This bug report also includes a link to a patch for it.

If you try it, please let us know how it goes and if you had any issues with it.
