Hi, checking back in with Mahara after the v.17 release. I've been away for a while, and was wondering if anything had been developed to let me move my maharadata folder to Amazon's S3. I've looked around for plugins and experimented myself with no real success, and just wanted to see if there was a nook (or cranny, for that matter) that I may have missed.

Timely question. :-) We have a new feature in code review to allow connecting to S3: https://reviews.mahara.org/#/c/7676/

Would be great if you'd like to give it a go and see how it goes. You may need to get in touch with Ilya for some more information. Since we just finished the 17.04 release, we haven't had time to look into it more.

I saw indications in the code and wondered... I may poke at it later, then, when I have some time this summer. Good to know it's in the works!
