Importing Leap 2A Portfolio Pages does not contain files

Hello Forum.

I've discovered that importing a portfolio page that has been exported from Mahara (Leap2a format) does not import the uploaded files associated with the page. The files are in the zipped export folder, but they don't import. I am exporting the page from Mahara 1.10 and importing into a standalone Mahara instance, version 16.10.2.

Is this a common problem or am I doing something wrong?

Hello Laurie,

I remember that we made a number of Leap2A export and import improvements in Mahara 15.04. If the files are in your export but not visible on the page, it sounds like an issue that we resolved in a later version of Mahara. At the moment, there are only two things you could do:

  1. Manually re-link the files in the new portfolio.
  2. Upgrade the 1.10 site to 16.10 and do the export again.
