We are currently running Mahara 16.10.0 in conjunction with Moodle 3.0 on our test server. We are interested in upgrading because of iOS playback issues. 

I have stumbled across a new problem with 16.10.0. The media black will not accept mp4 files. I have configured the internal media  to allow all available file formats but I still receive this message " The file you uploaded was not the correct type for this block." when I attempt to upload mp4 H.264.

Can you please make your mp4 file available to me? We'd need to look at the mimetype of the file.

We raised a bug for it:

A patch is currently getting reviewed.

One more question is this a known issue for 16.4 as well or just 16.10?

Yes, I believe it affects 16.4 as well. But, as far as I can tell, no one seems to have been affected by it   (maybe ??)...

Just an update on this...

Samuel was kind enough to test this on their Mahara 16.04 and could not replicate the issue.

So it appears that 16.04 is not affected by this bug.
