Hello,

after Mahara update from version 15.04. into 16.04.3 I got a lot of emails from students regarding the print option which is not included on the portfolio page anymore.

Is this function still a part of the latest Mahara version, or it has been removed from it? Maybe it needs to be activated somewhere in the backend?

Hello Paul,

We removed the print button for the time being as the print output was not great. Aaron made a suggestion for a (temporary) fix at https://mahara.org/interaction/forum/topic.php?id=7632

Do you know when these changes regarding printing Mahara pages effectively will be merged with future releases of Mahara?

It's already in the master branch and will be released with Mahara 17.04. :-)

We are looking into getting the release candidate out at the end of March / beginning of April / before Mahara Hui in New Zealand.

If you aren't planning on upgrading during the summer, you could look into backporting this feature. I suspect it should be possible as it only touches three files.
