Hi,
we have Moodle and Mahara working together nicely and we can go from Moodle to Mahara via SSO and accounts are created and the same usernames are then in both profiles.

The problem comes when a student goes to a Moodle assignment. It doesn't display a list of their pages available in Mahara.

if I go to ...mnet/service/enrol/host.php it says:

mnetservice_enrol/fetchingcourses

More information about this error

But there is no more info about this error if I follow the link - I'm not even sure if this error is related though.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance - Paul

Hello Paul,

The mnetservice_enrol capability is not needed.

Do you have the assignment submission plugins installed and activated on your Moodle?

https://moodle.org/plugins/view/assignsubmission_mahara and https://moodle.org/plugins/view/assignfeedback_mahara

Cheers

Hi Kristina,

yes, we have both plugins installed and activated. We see the check boxes for Mahara submission and feedback in the Moodle assignment settings.

Mahara portfolio    2014110502    1.1-mdl2.7

Mahara feedback  2014051200     1.0-mdl2.7

Hello Paul,

Do you have any errors in the error log that could pertain to the problem?

Oh one thing: Which version of Mahara are you using? If you are using 1.9 or lower, you need a patch on your Mahara site. See https://github.com/MaharaProject/moodle-assignsubmission_mahara

Cheers

Hi Kristina,

we're on Mahara version: 1.10.2

I turned on debugging in Moodle and nothing showed up when a test learner, who has a Mahara page, went to submit an assignment.

Our Moodle uses ldapif that helps?

Hello Paul,

I'm out of ideas as the pages should be listed. Maybe there is a customization on Moodle or Mahara that interferes or some code has not been uploaded properly. Do you have the same issue on your testing server?

Cheers

Kristina
