Self registration in an institution creating problems

We are having an issue with self registration for participants of a course.

They register for an institution ( which I have set to selfregistration with admin confirmation) get the normal notice to go to their eMail etc....  but they never get an email ... eventually I find their requests ( I do not get any notification in my inbox either) in the list of open registrations, admit them to the institutions - and nothing happens. They are lost in MaharaCyberSpace Surprised . They are not in the system either.  I can register them maually, that works fine.

Any help much appreciated.... necver had this issue before ...

Hello Sigi,

This sounds like you have an issue with your server sending emails. Do you get any other notifications from Mahara via email? You'll have to check with your server administrator if email is still configured to be sent. One of the first places is to check the mail log if any outgoing registration mails were recorded.

Thanks Kristina. We only have the issue with registration Mails, all other notifications get sent. Will Check with Ralf next week in Lübeck and let you know whether we could solve the problem.
