Does anyone know any way to put a hit counter on a public Mahara page? Or any other way to track how many times a page is visited? (without having admin level access)

Thanks

you could try http://www.hitwebcounter.com/

Not sure if it's accurate or good practice, but seems kind of fun. Paste their code into a text box and use HTML

Here is a sample

Hello Simha,

You shouldn't need an external hit counter. Mahara displays how many visits you have on each page in the footer. However, if you have small headers turned on, there was a bug. It was fixed in the latest 1.10.2. See https://launchpad.net/bugs/1395627

Cheers

The Mahara hit counter works on pages in collections (both personal and group) but doesn't show up on your profile page nor group home page. This embed code Dirk linked up is a nice work around.

Hello Simha,

Thanks for letting us know that it is these specific pages that you are after. I created a wishlist item at https://bugs.launchpad.net/mahara/+bug/1440619

Cheers

Kristina
