If you have not yet made any plans for the Easter week 2015, we have a suggestion for you: Come to New Zealand to attend Mahara Hui. The hui (Māori for "gathering") will take place on 9 and 10 April 2015 at AUT University in Auckland. A pre-hui, a.k.a. pre-conference day will be organized for 8 April 2015 at the Catalyst IT Auckland office right on the waterfront.

Escape the Northern hemispheric early spring and soak up the last rays of the New Zealand summer, come over the ditch from Australia to learn from Kiwi experiences and showcase what you are doing across the Tasman, journey from all parts of New Zealand to catch up with Mahara friends and make new connections for idea exchanges throughout the rest of the year.

We welcome proposals for presentations and posters as well as sessions on the pre-hui day by anyone who is interested in Mahara be that school students, university graduates, school teachers, lecturers in tertiary education, learning and technology support staff, developers and others. Please review the information for proposals. You will need to register on the site to submit your proposal.

The call for proposals is open until 6 February 2015. The Mahara Hui team reserves the right to accept proposals before the call for proposals finishes. Thus, we encourage early proposal submissions.

Mahara Hui 2015 is organized by the Centre for Learning and Teaching (CfLAT) at AUT University as well as Catalyst IT, the Mahara project maintainer.
