Hello!

Why in the pages of Mahara Groups are different functions as in the pages of the portfolio pages?

For example adding a blog entry is not possible for a group page.

Hello Thomas,

Groups have different functionalities. A journal is a personal artefact and thus not available in a group because we do not yet have group journal functionality. This functionality is already on the wishlist for future functionality in Mahara. See

Hello Kristina,

the wishlist for future functionality in Mahara (== the links) describe the functionality what i asked for.

I would use journals in a group in this way:If someone of the pupils will give a group access to a part of his journal, pupils can share there experiences directly.

Thank you for your reply. With "will give a group access to a part of his journal, pupils can share there experiences directly" do you mean that the other students should be able to add journal entries in that journal or that they should be able to comment on journal posts and see them displayed in a group page?
