Cron job

My cron job seems to have stopped working. I'm still receiving email alerts but it doesn't seem to include any data. I've read through other posts and it seems that running the crontab on the server rather than the over the web could be an option. Does anyone know how I might do that on C-Panel?
Any other possible solutions would also be welcome. This is a copy of the cron report I'm receiving by email:

Can you please provide some more details? Did you recently upgrade your Mahara instance? Did you change anything in Mahara? Which version of Mahara are you using? What does your cron job look like right now?

It seems the problem was being caused by an errattic server rather than by the Cronjob itself. Thanks for your response.
