Hello!

I was able to set up the two site, but when I have tried exporting an activity, and error occurred. 

Failed to start communication with remote server:  remote server error: code: , message: Invalid importdata: Missing leap xml fileERROR 4:

Can anyone help me on this?

I tried to bring in a Canvas ePortfolio to see what would happen. I got the missing Leap XML file as well. I also got Upload a Leap 2A file. Not sure what that is.

Hello Karen,

To my knowledge, Canvas does not export files in the Leap2A standard format and thus you can't import them into Mahara. I haven't heard back from Canvas yet to fully confirm since the documentation I saw didn't mention the export format, but I suspect that this is the issue.

Hello Karen,

Julian from Canvas confirmed: Canvas does not export into Leap2A. Thus, you can't import your portfolio into Mahara. You could check with Canvas if they consider supporting the Leap2A standard.
