Hello!

Is it possible for an institution to have a customised URL?

Eg:
mahara instance is called, say www.thinkplatform.com
Institution is called, say Nameofmyservice

so can Nameofmyservice users log in at:

www.thinkplatform.nameofmyservice.com

If yes what needs to be enabled/done?

If no well what could you suggest to achieve something like this?

Hello Pascale,

This sounds like a URL rewrite question to me, but I don't know if it possible to have that done at all. If so, there would be added difficulty as users can switch institutions and then what happens to their URL and what happens to those who are in multiple institutions?

Thank you Kristina for making the time to answer this "think out loud" question of mine, which was not particularly well put!Good point about the multiple institution. I need to refine my thoughts around this.
