Having problems with users of an insitituion seeing files that are in folders.

1 I dragged and dropped a bunch of images into the institute files.

2. I moved those images to a folder.

3. A user of an institution created a page.

4. The user tried to select an insitute image in a folder, but when the folder is selected, it says "no files are available."

If the images are not moved to a sub-folder, I can see the images.  But when I moved them to a folder, I can't see the images.  And when a user does see the images, the snapshots of the image can't be seen (just the file name).

I also had problems with files that I tried to load to the site.

If this is an actual issue (and not just something that I am doing wrong) how quickly will the problem be fixed or should I just load my files directly under the user?

Sorry, I realized the above post is confusing.

1. As an administrator to an institution, I drag and dropped a bunch of files at the institution level.

2. Ad an administrator to an institution, I moved the files to folders of the institution.

3. As a regular user, I created a page.

4. As a regular user, I tried to add an image to a page.  When I selected the institution folder, I got the message, no files available.

The same thing happened when I tried to add files at the site level as well.

Hi Melissa,

We have a patch in review at https://reviews.mahara.org/2493 that should solve this problem, but it hasn't been worked on for a bit.

Cheers

Kristina
