Hi,

since today my XMLRPC from Moodle to Mahara won´t work anymore.

I installed regular maintenance updates on my Mahara-Server (Ubuntu 12.04.3 System) as usual. After the reboot I wasn´t able to login from Moodle anymore.

The apache log shows the following:

[Wed Oct 09 17:23:52 2013] [error] [client xx] [WAR] 25 (api/xmlrpc/client.php:138) Time drift (0, 51) is too large., referer: https://moodle.xxxxx
[Wed Oct 09 17:23:52 2013] [error] [client 10.114.57.20] Call stack (most recent first):, referer: https://moodle.xxxxx/

The strange thing is, that the time on both servers is synced (using NTP on Ubuntu as well as on the Gentoo-Server). The error came out of the blue I have no idea what I should try next.

EDIT: Error occured with 1.6.6 - now running 1.6.7

Any help is appreciated, we need our Mahoodle ;)

Thanks,

Werner

Fixed - It was a time issue.

Default NTP Servers from gentoo and ubuntu did not sync the same time (1 minute drift).

Strange...

Wow a 1-minute drift, that's pretty extreme for NTP servers!
