I am blogging on Mahara and that way commenting the lectures for my students and giving my impressions on their work. But my students reply, that they don't get any push information like those they get after a Forum post was published This way they always forget to track the blog.

The blog is not published (only for Students of a special course), so there ist no RSS.

Is ther another way for my students to track my postings with more usability?

Hello Conrad,

Unfortunately, comments on pages are not sent out to the comment authors. That would be a great feature to have though, e.g. also to be able to subscribe to comments on pages / journals via email. I just updated the wishlist item to include journal comments: https://bugs.launchpad.net/mahara/+bug/738882
