Hi!,

 I am new for Mahara and i want to customize the home page by adding two features

1. i want to add carousel or slider beside login plugin

2. main menu.

Plz guide me . how to do.

Hello Srini,

Can you please be more specific of what you want to do with the main menu? Do you want to add additional items / take others out / rearrange things?

As far as the slider / carousel goes, one possibility could be to utilize the homeinfo.tpl (found in htdocs -> theme -> raw -> templates; but you can place the file in your own theme to avoid changing core functionality). You could replace the "homepage info" with your carousel / slider and users would be able to hide it if they've seen it enough times.
