Hi

One of our Mahara users come across the following error message when accessing her My friends' page.

"A nonrecoverable error occurred. This probably means you have encountered a bug in the system"

What we've found out is that she has made a friend to a user in the system with the id = 0 in the usr table. We are really puzzled how the user account could possibly be created with the id = 0. We couldn't find the user anywhere in the user interface. Any how it was possible for other users to make friends to it. Anyone can shed some lights on this?

Many thanks,

Shen

Hi Shen,

In a standard Mahara installation, there is a special user at ID 0, the "root" user. But they're not meant to be accessible to normal users, so this is a bug.

If you can figure out how to replicate it, we'd love to hear about it so that we can fix it. Smile

Cheers,
Aaron
