Hello,

I commented on my own page, then deleted the comments, so I get:

I expected that when I turn off comments these would disappear, but they don't. How does the owner get rid of comments, including the deleted ones, eg., for aesthetic reasons?

Hello Tom,

The notices appear for transparency reasons. Currently, there is no other way to get rid of these deleted comments than deleting them directly from the database. As that is not very easy for the majority of people, a workaround is to copy the page and don't allow comments from the beginning and then delete your old page that contains the deleted comments.
