Internal and External Verification

Hi,

I am currently looking at setting up processes for allowing Internal and External Verifiers access to students pages to verify the work (and college processes) done by the students is at an acceptable level.

At present, we get the students to create Secret URL's and give them to their lecturers, who then create a link to each student collection on a page, which is then shared with the Internal Verifier's Mahara user account and an account setup for the External Verifier.

Can anyone tell me if there is an easier/nicer way to do this process or what everyone else does within their institutions?

Thanks

Hello Wullie,

For assessment purposes, I often see teachers use the controlled groups because then students can submit their pages (and collections in 1.6) to that group and their artefacts are locked. They can still create a secret URL for an external verifier.

Cheers
