I need to load an xml in a  DOM object inside Mahara and I can't, can anybody help me if there is a security warning I don't know. I'm developing a recommender plugin that uses external xml files which are metadata of the objects I need to parse, but I just can't, please!!!

Hello Arle,

I suspect that HTML Purifier strips your code out. If that is indeed the case, you'll have to add exceptions / filters for your code to be let through.

Hi Kristina,

Thanks for what you told me. I would like if that´s not much to ask, to tell me something concerning "filepermission" directive configuration variables in init.php. How could I handle that in order to permit access external files. I´m sorry if my English is not very good,   you know I´m cuban and my mother language is Spanish, jajajajajajajaj.
