Allowed iframe sources
10 December 2012, 4:28
Hello Community:
To help with implementing iframe sources easily and safely to your sites, I started a page on the wiki here: https://wiki.mahara.org/index.php/Allowed_iframe_sources
The purpose is to provide site admins a quick overview of what others deem safe and what the URL structure is so they may implement on their own sites quickly.

This is a great idea Dirk.
Not sure how to edit the wiki so could I also suggest
wallwisher.com/embed
for Wallwisher
Also
edu.glogengine.com/
for Glogster which is a 3rd alternative to the two aded.

Hello Gideon,
Your Mahara.org login functions as login to the wiki as well.

Up until recently I have been able to add a google map using the External Content > Google Apps and embed with an iframe code form google maps. This seems to have stopped working and although the old code works, the code currently issued by google maps doesn't seem to work,
Does anyone know what the problem is - can anyone get the current google maps iframe embed code to work? Is it me or has Google changed something!?
I tried this on my own installation and on the demo Mahara site and neither seemed to work.
Any advice appreciated - thanks!
Jim
PS I would post the different code but this is not allowed in this forum...
