We have the facebooklike version 1.0.2 within Mahara 1.6.1 and when the users clicks on Like (no matter which layout style we use or browser) it will not add their like, sets back to zero straight away.

Don't see anything within error logs.

Hi Ali,

Do you see anything in your access logs with a User Agent of facebooklike (from memory)? That is the facebook bot checking to see whether it is public content.

Is the page public?

Hi Ali,

Maybe there is also an issue in general with the plugin and 1.6. The last update to this contributed plugin was in 2011.

Hi Guys

Nothing in the access logs that is related to the facebooklike. I also double checked the error logs and nothing there too.

Yeah the page has been made public and another thing I didn't mention is that this happens within a group page.

I just added the block to my own personal public page, I can click on like and counts my submission. When another user accesses this page, the user can't click on the like as it is unhighlighted and there is a count of one beside the like.
