After updating to Mahara 1.6.1 we can't embed any wmv-files in views. wmv is not accepted as a movie file. All wmv files which are allready embeded aren't displayed after the update. We have checked various browsers but the problem is in Mahara. Any ideas?

Hello Oli,

Did you check that WMV was still clicked as media file to embed in the plugin administration?

yes all media files are enabled - only the wmv videos don´t work

Hi Oli,

I tested this on demo.mahara.org and found the following: When I upload a wmv file directly in the block, I get the same error message that the format is not supported. However, when I create a new block, the file is recognized without issues and I can see the video.
