I'm enjoying my new Android phone, but one of the reasons for getting it over an iPhone is gone; as of last month Adobe no longer supports Flash for Android.

How will Mahara support media playback for smartphones? Is there something I can do now to replace Flowplayer, which is broken for Android users?

Further to this, I see that My Learning also does not display to Android phones, due to the Flash issue.

I guess it maybe never did to iPhone users?

Is there an HTML5 strategy in the works?

Hi Don,

Thank you for your post. We haven't actively thought about replacing FlowPlayer with an alternative. If you wish, you can put it onto the agenda for the next dev meeting if you can attend or create a wishlist report.
