Hi,

We've had a lot of queries from students about the page visit counter.

Some students who have not shared their pages at all, are getting page visit hits.

I checked some of my pages - I have not shared this (pictured below) page at all, but I have had 22 page visit(s) from 06 July 2012 to 15 August 2012.

In its counting, does it include how many times you as the editor visit it? Or should it only count visits by other people?

This screen capture was taken from Mahara 1.4.2. in IE9. The same thing in Chrome, Firefox and Safari (on Win).

Hello Teresa,

Sorry for the late reply. One of our developers checked and all visits to a page are counted, also the ones of the author.
