Hi everyone

I have a situation where we have 90 groups and each group has different admins now.

Now, I need to update some members of the instituion with Group Administrators.

Currently I can do this from the console, but its gonna take ages as one group can be selected at a time.

I would like to know if its possible to select all groups and assign particular people with roles to all those groups.

Regards,

Sandeep

From 1.5 and on, you can manage groups via CSV files.

See the manual at point 8.4.4 Add and update groups by CVS

Hello Sandeep,

Going forward, you can use the CSV group creation and member upload functionalities for which dajan provided the link to the manual. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to apply that to existing groups. You'd have to go into the backend and update the database table manually to create a group ID for the group so you can administer the members via a CSV file.

Cheers

Kristina
